Job summary

Analogic is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op in New Hampshire to support a range of manufacturing initiatives, including tolerancing reviews, process improvements, data analysis, and documentation development.

You'll collaborate with Quality, Design Engineering, Production, and R&D, gaining hands-on experience with SolidWorks/AutoCAD, Excel, Minitab, and ERP systems while applying Lean and Six Sigma practices.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks or AutoCAD) and familiarity with statistical analysis.
• Experience with Excel and data-driven problem solving.

• Lead/assist tolerancing reviews on released assembly drawings using SolidWorks.

Job description

What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op, you will support a variety of engineering and manufacturing initiatives, including:

Engineering Project Support

• Lead efforts to review and update tolerancing on released assembly drawings using SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with Quality, Design Engineering, and Production teams to ensure engineering changes are fully vetted, documented, and compliant with customer requirements.

Process Improvement

• Support manufacturing technicians in identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance production efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities.

Data Analysis

• Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing and process data using Minitab, Microsoft Excel, and other analytical tools.
• Identify trends, investigate issues, and provide data-driven recommendations to support informed decision-making.

Documentation & Process Development

• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including:
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Work Instructions
  • Process Flow Diagrams
  • Process and Engineering Documentation

Equipment & Manufacturing Support

• Assist with the maintenance, calibration, and optimization of manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable operation and performance.
• Support ongoing production activities and engineering projects.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Production, and R&D teams to support business objectives and improve manufacturing processes.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

What You'll Bring

Education

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in:
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Or a related engineering discipline

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and data-driven problem-solving techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• SolidWorks certification or advanced CAD experience is a plus.
