L&T Technology Services in the United States is seeking engineers to support welding tooling and assembly process design. You will handle tooling templates, develop manufacturing processes, and update SOPs while driving cost reductions and standardization across lines.

The role includes 5S implementation, layout planning, and daily project coordination with customers to ensure quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with handling weld tooling/templates and its parts/components.
• Complete Manufacturing / Industrial engineering support.
• Design & Implementation of weld and assembly tooling.
• Assembly process planning.
• Creating & updating standard operating procedures, CN and DOU the process.
• Develop manufacturing process flow and with reduce cost.
• Systematic layout planning, production planning & control.
• Validation of Racks and cart based on the load capacity.
• Designing of cart and special purpose material handling devices.
• Designing of Templates and special purpose tools for productivity improvements.
• Quality checking gauges.
• Material flow and standardization process support.
• Daily follow up with projects and interaction with customer.
• Supporting to continuous improvement process.
• 5S line support for line implementation.

Responsabilités

• Handle weld tooling/templates and components to support manufacturing.
• Provide manufacturing/industrial engineering guidance and deliver process improvements.
• Develop and implement weld and assembly tooling designs.
• Plan assembly processes and create SOPs and DOU documentation.
• Optimize material flow, layout, and production planning to reduce costs.
• Validate racks, carts, and material handling devices for load capacity.
• Design templates and tools to boost productivity and quality.
• Conduct quality gauges and ensure standardization across lines.
• Interact with customers and follow up on projects daily.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and 5S implementation.
