Job summary

Thunderstone Manufacturing, LLC. in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the growth of our Lincoln Manufacturing Center. You will assist with process development, tooling design, and documentation to improve safety, throughput, and quality.

Qualified candidates have an AAS in manufacturing or 3+ years of related experience, with ability to read engineering drawings and knowledge of fabrication, subassembly, and final assembly. Welding experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• AAS degree in a manufacturing related field or minimum of 3 years experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering part drawings.
• Understanding of Fabrication, Subassembly, and Final line assembly in a Manufacturing environment.
• Experience with metal fabrication or welding is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new process development and sustainment activities to improve production safety, throughput, and quality.
• Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, teams, and trainings to drive continuous improvement in conjunction with our Timpte Production System.
• Assist with equipment and/or tooling design, development, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and update tooling and process documentation for all equipment and processes.
