Job summary

SwapLoader USA, Ltd. in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead tooling design, process improvements, and quality initiatives for swap-loader products. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and manufacturability, with onsite work at our Des Moines headquarters.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to optimize production, support field operations, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement weld fixtures, assembly fixtures, jigs, tooling, and production aids.
• Improve material handling, workstations, and ergonomics.
• Lead tooling and equipment improvements from concept to implementation.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and champion corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production to improve manufacturability and quality.
• Travel to customer sites as needed for field support.
