Job summary

EFCO Corp. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize processes for SwapLoader hook-lift systems and related truck-mounted equipment. You will develop fixtures, improve production layouts, and lead quality initiatives across welding, hydraulics, and assembly.

You will analyze field performance, support safety and reliability, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and service teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or related industry.
• Excellent PC skills.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Good problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement weld fixtures, assembly fixtures, jigs, tooling, and manufacturing aids.
• Improve material handling systems, carts, lifting devices, storage solutions, and workstations.
• Manage tooling improvement projects from concept through implementation.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve ergonomics, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Source and deploy tooling and production equipment with vendors and internal teams.
• Investigate defects, weld quality, hydraulic issues, and warranty claims.
