The role leads technical directions to improve plant operations, design roll shop tooling from OEM specs, and collaborate with customers and shop floor personnel to optimize tooling, safety, and productivity. The position emphasizes managing capital projects, supporting budgets, and working with EHS to implement safe procedures.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgy or related engineering from an accredited college.
• 3–5 years in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent 2D software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Direct technical objectives to safely achieve high equipment availability and cost efficiencies.
• Design roll shop tooling using OEM drawings and specs.
• Develop relationships with customers to align tooling and production needs.
• Improve safety and operations through shop-floor collaboration.
• Manage capital projects and support budget processes.
• Work with EHS to implement standard safe work procedures.
