Job summary

G3 Soft Inc. is seeking an Engineering professional in Murfreesboro, TN to support manufacturing and industrial engineering activities. You will design weld/assembly tooling, plan processes, develop SOPs, and drive cost reductions while ensuring quality gauges and material handling devices meet requirements.

You will collaborate on layout planning, production control, and continuous improvement initiatives with project teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Experience with weld tooling/templates and components.
• Provide manufacturing/industrial engineering support.
• Design and implement weld and assembly tooling.
• Plan assembly processes.
• Create and update standard operating procedures and CN/DOU the process.
• Develop manufacturing process flow and reduce cost.
• Systematic layout planning, production planning & control.
• Validate racks and carts based on load capacity.
• Design carts and special purpose material handling devices.
• Design templates and special purpose tools for productivity improvements.
• Create quality checking gauges.
• Support material flow and standardization processes.
• Daily follow up with projects and interaction with customers.
• Support continuous improvement processes.
• 5S line support for line implementation.
