Manufacturing Engineer/Tool Designer III

Job Overview

This role involves working with the Manufacturing Engineering team to develop models of tooling and fixturing concepts used in machining aircraft parts.

Responsibilities

1. Perform CAD modeling to create accurate solid models of machined parts, assemblies, or fixtures.
2. Conceptualize manufacturing process options for CNC machining of complex structural aircraft parts.
3. Collaborate with the team to develop machining sequence plans and conceptual fixture designs for efficient machining of aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel structural aircraft parts.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of trade school, vocational education, work experience, or apprenticeship.
• Must be a U.S. Person.
• Experience with NX/Unigraphics and/or CATIA is a plus.
• Aerospace and/or manufacturing experience is a plus.

May require obtaining and maintaining a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Dual citizenship may affect eligibility.
