Fives Landis Corp in Hagerstown, Maryland, is seeking a Full-Time Manufacturing Engineer Technician (MET) to join its team. The MET will oversee start-up, inspection, and adjustments on machine systems, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software control systems.

We require a minimum of 5 years of experience troubleshooting or programming CNC grinders, lathes, and mills, plus an associate degree in engineering or electronics (or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience troubleshooting or programming CNC grinders/lathes/mills.
• Associate degree in engineering or electronics, or approved equivalent degree or experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software control system set-up, start-up, inspection, and adjustments on machine systems.
• Document and compile data required during inspection.
• Operate and maintain instrumentation for analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of machines; complete machine vibration analysis and report.
• Load and download software to enable machine control systems; perform capability studies; program data collection systems.
• Verify, edit, and change control logic; troubleshoot and repair electronic control systems that control machine operations.
• Direct work of others (assembly floor technicians) on start-up, set-up, qualification, and documentation.

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Technician who has the same desire to prove that industry can do it!

PAY RANGE: $25 - $45 per hour

Your role will be to:

• Responsible for all mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software control system set-up, start‑up, inspection, and adjustments on machine systems.
• Document and compile data required by both customer and company during and after the inspection process.
• Operation and maintenance of instrumentation for the analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of machines and identified problems; completes machine vibration analysis and report.
• Load and/or download software required to enable machine control systems to perform functions required to complete grinding cycle. Performs machine capability studies; programs and qualify data collection systems to analyze data.
• Verifies, edits and changes control logic; verifies, troubleshoots, repairs and adjusts electronic control systems that control machine operations.
• Directs work of others, mainly assembly floor technicians, on machine start‑up, set‑up, qualification, and machine hitlist and quality documentation book resolutions.

At Fives Landis Corp. and under the direction of the Process Controls Manager, you will join the Quality Control team.

We are seeking someone who has a minimum of 5 years of experience troubleshooting or programming CNC grinders/lathes/mills. Required minimum associate degree in engineering or electronics; or approved equivalent degree or experience.
