Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Specialist, Manufacturing Engineer at the Orange, VA site to advance propulsion and energetics production. You will work under supervision to apply core manufacturing engineering principles to modernize facilities and improve processes.

This role offers a 4/10 schedule, requires a Bachelor’s degree with several years of experience, and may require travel up to 5% and the ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in manufacturing engineering; graduate degree optional with 2+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Support modernization and automation of production facilities.
• Identify defects and perform root-cause investigations with PFMEAs and MBOMs.
• Monitor SPC and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and quality.
• Develop process instructions from drawings and specifications.
• Support energetic assembly and manufacturing operations.
• Travel up to 5%.
