Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Iowa to set up and maintain production lines used to repair and upgrade electronic products, while supporting technicians in diagnosing and repairing systems for safety and efficiency.

You will design, construct, and maintain test fixtures, perform root-cause analysis, document procedures, and mentor operations staff while coordinating with product teams on improvements to prevent recurring failures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with microcontroller- or microprocessor-based products.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience developing automated test systems preferred.
• Component-level troubleshooting and repair experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup of new production line equipment used to test, repair, and upgrade electronic products.
• Assist in the design, construction, and maintenance of test fixtures and test systems.
• Troubleshoot product failures and perform root-cause analysis on returned electronics.
• Collect repair data and maintain accurate repair records and databases.
• Provide feedback to product development on design corrections and recurring failures.
• Develop and document troubleshooting and repair protocols.
• Perform repairs on returned devices following safety and quality standards.
• Mentor operations and repair technicians.
