We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer – Senior to join our team specializing in Manufacturing in Columbus, IN.

- Utilize Continuous Improvement Tools: By leveraging continuous improvement tools and following Cummins standards, you'll drive ongoing enhancements in manufacturing practices.
- Develop Standards and Methods: Leading the development of manufacturing standards and working methods will ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Influence Stakeholders: Your communication skills will help influence key external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional members, fostering collaboration and alignment.
- Manage Project Assignments: Working with internal and external resources, you'll lead specific project assignments, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Coach and Maintain Relationships: By maintaining relationships and coaching key stakeholders, you'll support their development and contribute to a positive work environment.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Collaborate effectively with team members and partners.
- Communicate clearly across different audiences.
- Champion health and safety initiatives.
- Interpret engineering drawings accurately for manufacturing processes.
- Procure equipment that meets specifications.
- Leverage digital tools for process modeling and data analysis.
- Implement process improvements and document procedures.
- Design tools, fixtures, and ergonomic workspaces.
- Solve problems systematically using data-driven approaches.
Qualifications include:
- Degree in STEM or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Intermediate relevant work experience.
- Additional skills such as engine performance understanding, diagnostics, and data analysis are a plus.
This is a fully ONSITE role supporting Cold Test cells at CMEP and Post Assembly areas.
The salary range is from $85,600 to $128,400, based on experience and qualifications.
