Job summary

Tusk Industrial is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, improve, and sustain manufacturing processes for fiberglass reinforced centrifugal pumps. You will drive standardization, efficiency, quality, and modernization across RTM and machine shop operations.

You will collaborate with production techs, supervisors, quality personnel, and engineering teams to optimize methods, create work instructions, and support CNC machining operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes and work instructions.
• Experience with CNC machining and CAM programming.
• Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, tooling, fixturing, and GD&T.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing processes and solve technical problems.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase safety, quality, productivity, and throughput.
• Create, revise, and maintain manufacturing work instructions, process sheets, setup documentation, and visual standards.
• Develop standardized operating procedures for RTM and machining operations.
• Collaborate with technicians to improve molding processes, tooling utilization, resin flow, cure cycles, and part quality.
• Create, verify, and maintain CAM programs for CNC machining centers.
• Provide daily technical support to RTM and machining operations.
• Participate in corrective and preventive action activities related to quality issues.
