Job summary

Tate is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to collaborate with Product Design Engineering, Project Management, and Manufacturing teams across the full product lifecycle. You will create detailed drawings, develop manufacturing processes, and implement efficiency improvements while supporting testing and quality assurance.

The role requires hands-on involvement in operations, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred), and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a global

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong CAD modeling and technical drawings skills, SolidWorks preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience with CAM software is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed fabrication and assembly drawings and BOMs from CAD models.
  • Design and optimize manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Support product sourcing and material selection per design requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance to production operations and process improvements.
  • Develop testing methods to validate system and product capabilities.
  • Review requirements and designs for manufacturability and compliance.
  • Prepare product reports by analyzing production and quality data.
