Job summary

Steel King Industries, Inc. in New London, Wisconsin, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support roll forming tooling changes, new machine installs, troubleshooting, and upgrades.

The role may lead projects with contractors or be fully in-house and offers growth into robotics-based work as core competencies develop. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering and 2+ years' experience, with proficiency in 3D modeling (Inventor preferred) and familiarity with Fanuc robots and 3D

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in related fields.
• 3D Modeling Experience – Inventor Preferred.
• Experience with Fanuc robots preferred.
• 3D printing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take in-house projects from concept to completion through the Steel King process, including cost justification/analysis, 3D modeling, print creation and ordering, in-house building, and handoff to production and maintenance.
• Working with outside contractors, manage capital projects from implementation through completion, meeting timelines and budget while minimizing impact to production.
• Assist with developing the yearly capital plan based on plant needs and improvements.
• Organize equipment shutdown schedules for tooling changes to minimize impact to production.
• Coordinate manufacturing launch of new/revised production, including establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating results.
