Job summary

AAA USA Inc. is actively hiring experienced Manufacturing Engineers to support aerospace, defense, transportation, industrial, and advanced manufacturing programs nationwide.

The role involves working directly with production teams to improve methods, resolve build issues, and support DFM initiatives. The ideal candidate will independently manage day-to-day process improvements, with opportunities to engage senior leadership on higher-risk decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5–7 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in aerospace.
• Strong CAD and reading GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with DFM and manufacturing documentation.
• ERP experience such as Epicor or SAP with eBOM/mBOM reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with mechanics, technicians, and production personnel to identify and resolve manufacturing and assembly issues.
• Improve manufacturing methods, processes, ergonomics, work content, and production flow within assigned manufacturing areas.
• Analyze build sequences and develop practical, efficient, and repeatable manufacturing processes.
• Use CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation to understand design intent and identify opportunities to improve manufacturability.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing drawings, models, work instructions, process documentation, and other manufacturing engineering deliverables.
• Identify root causes of manufacturing problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Production, Maintenance, and suppliers to resolve manufacturability and production issues.
