Job summary

ElectroCraft Ohio Inc. is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to optimize motor production processes, ensure product quality, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or related engineering field required.
• 5–7 years in manufacturing engineering with a focus on quality preferred.
• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), and SPC knowledge beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 and regulatory compliance (UL, CE, RoHS).
• CAD experience with Inventor, SolidWorks, or equivalent; Fusion 360 CAM experience preferred.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven approach.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; strong time management.
• Certifications such as CQE or Six Sigma are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: design and implement efficient manufacturing processes for motor production.
• Quality Assurance: lead quality control initiatives and investigations to meet requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance: ensure processes comply with ISO 9001, UL, CE, and related regs.
• Root Cause Analysis: perform 8D, FMEA, and Six Sigma analyses to reduce defects.
• Continuous Improvement: drive lean initiatives to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Documentation and Reporting: maintain documentation for processes, inspections, and audits.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: align design, production, and supply chain on new products.
• Equipment & Tooling: select and validate equipment and tooling for high-volume production.
• Training & Mentorship: guide production staff and junior engineers on best practices.
• Supplier Quality Management: ensure incoming materials meet quality standards.
