Job summary

Tempur Sealy in the United States is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance professional to join our manufacturing team. You will implement standard processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across production lines, collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving root-cause investigations and corrective actions.

With a focus on Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, you'll monitor KPIs, lead audits, and support product launches while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
  • Auditor certification experience is a plus.
  • Experience with quality control and process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Occasional travel (up to 25%) will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Support investigations into safety incidents and identify root causes to prevent recurrence.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address deficiencies.
  • Use data analysis tools to monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and new technologies to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with corporate Safety and Quality Teams to ensure focus on organization priorities.
  • Assist with product launches, product spec meetings, and best practice sharing across the network.
  • Manage all quality related internal and external plant audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

Salary : $ 90,000- 109,600

What You'll Need (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
