Job summary

gpac is recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer in the area. The role emphasizes SOP development, design reviews, and design/procurement of tools to support efficient production and improved quality.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience, with preferred familiarity in MRP systems and metal fabrication, welding, and topcoat applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field is required.
• 3-5 years of experience preferred.
• MRP systems experience is preferred.
• Experience in metal fabrication, welding and topcoat applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Development of SOPs using manufacturing engineering practices.
• Participate in concurrent evaluation and quality assurance design reviews.
• Evaluate and approve drawings, routings, specs, and other documents.
• Design and procure tools/equipment.
• Identify, evaluate, and solve production problems.
• Lead training of assemblers to improve and introduce new processes.
• Prepare/manufacture prototypes as required utilizing concurrent engineering principles.
