Job summary

gpac is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing team in the United States. The role focuses on developing SOPs, supporting concurrent engineering reviews, and resolving production problems.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering and 3-5 years' experience, with experience in metal fabrication, welding, and MRPs. Great benefits and long-term growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related fields is required.
• 3-5 years' experience.
• Excellent time management, problem prevention and solving skills
• MRP Systems experience preferred
• Experience in metal fabrication, welding and topcoat applications is preferred

Responsibilities

• Development of SOPs using manufacturing engineering practices.
• Participate in concurrent evaluation and quality assurance design reviews.
• Evaluate and approve drawings, routings, specs, and other documents.
• Design and procure tools/equipment.
• Identify, evaluate, and solve production problems.
• Lead training of assemblers to improve and introduce new processes.
• Prepare/manufacture prototypes as required utilizing concurrent engineering principles.
