Job summary

NPX ONE in Indianapolis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes aligned with product specs and quality standards. You will drive process improvements, coordinate launches for new or revised products, and lead cross-functional efforts to enhance efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years in manufacturing process support, plus strong CAD skills and familiarity with Lean practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3+ years in a manufacturing process support role.
• Automation integration and project management experience preferred.
• Interpersonal and communication skills for a high involvement environment.
• CAD proficiency; VBA/Excel; ERP experience desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carries out process improvement, problem resolution, project management, and employee training.
• Improves manufacturing processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.
• Prepares and presents plans for the above and coordinates deployment, including training of team members.
• Assists plant management in improving production control, SOPs, safety, quality control and training.
• Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and equipment.
