Job summary

Multimatic in the United States is seeking a Process/Industrial Engineer to help increase profitability and improve working conditions by studying, recommending and implementing changes to existing and new manufacturing processes.

You will coordinate with Scheduling, Tooling and QC to time ECNs, develop plant layouts and process improvements for Just In Time manufacturing and Total Quality Control, and assist with standard costs, supplier selection and new product introductions, while complying

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production reporting systems.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ECN timing with Scheduling, Tooling and QC to minimize stock obsolescence.
• Develop and coordinate plant layouts and process improvements for JIT and TQC.
• Support standard costs development and supplier selection for subcontracted work.
• Perform PFMEAs and validate operator instructions for ECN changes.
• Ensure compliance with TS16949, ISO 14001 and safety requirements.
