Job summary

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or five years of related experience.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and MRP.
• Knowledge of health & safety, environment legislation (OHSA, ISO 14001) and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ECN timing with Scheduling, Tooling and QC to minimize obsolete stock.
• Develop and coordinate plant and equipment layout improvements for JIT and TQC.
• Assist in standard costing and supplier selection for subcontracted operations.
• Provide engineering support on safety, ergonomics, methods improvements, procurement, and equipment fabrication.
• Ensure compliance with TS16949 and environmental guidelines.
