Job summary

STS Metals is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve processes across our aerospace-grade titanium, stainless and alloy steel, and nickel product lines. You will collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance to ensure safe, compliant, and on-time manufacturing.

This full-time exempt role requires applying Lean and Six Sigma methods, performing root-cause analysis, and guiding process validation, capability studies, and NCAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering or related experience preferred.
• Experience in aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, routings, work instructions, and process parameters.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to production, quality, and maintenance teams.
• Review requirements, drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and customer requirements to determine methods.
• Assist with process validation and manufacturing readiness reviews.
• Identify risks and implement controls before production.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives and apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
