Job summary

The role emphasizes problem-solving, collaboration, and a proactive engineering mindset aligned with safety and quality goals.

The incumbent will lead Kaizen initiatives, manage capital projects, and work across departments to implement effective changes using formal change management practices.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical and/or Industrial Engineering is required.
• Three or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering and automation.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with Lean Enterprise principles and engineering solutions development.

Responsibilities

• Develop methods, tooling, and techniques to reduce setup and changeover times for manufacturing equipment.
• Modify manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, and cost efficiency, implementing design changes as needed.
• Manage capital projects, including equipment specification, installation, and coordination with outside contractors.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen activities, and document results to track progress.
• Collaborate across departments to identify process shortcomings and implement effective solutions using established change management practices.
