Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years in manufacturing engineering with focus on assembly processes; automotive automation experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with Lean Enterprise and process improvements; troubleshooting and solution analysis.

Responsibilities

• Implements manufacturing techniques, processes, tooling, and machinery to maximize throughput.
• Establishes control charting of critical features and processes; monitors results and determines capabilities and performance reliability.
• Manages implementation of new processes, equipment selection, budgeting, and project management.
• Identifies optimal tooling for machining and resolves manufacturability issues.
• Oversees selection and implementation of automation and robotics on the assembly line.
• Updates equipment drawings and layouts; collaborates with outside contractors.
• Drives Kaizen activities and data analysis to improve efficiency.
