Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize production processes for quality and efficiency on a global scale. You will work on process improvements, equipment upgrades, and new product launches in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field with 2–4 years of experience and a Lean/Six-Sigma mindset. Travel and environment considerations may apply on a high-traffic production floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six-Sigma and/or Lean certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, assess, and implement manufacturing techniques and equipment to maximize efficiency.
• Plan and design systems to increase productivity and optimize integration of people, materials, and equipment.
• Research and implement changes to work methods, machinery, and safety for simple to moderate projects.
• Develop work standards, schedules, procedures and performance standards to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute process improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and new product launches.
• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows to improve productivity and quality.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
