Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde seeks an engineer to provide technical support across plant production. You will create, edit and revise prints and routers, balancing quality, productivity, safety and cost while continuously improving processes.

The role requires 3–5 years in metal production, CAD (2D/3D) and SAP proficiency, plus the ability to estimate costs and drive improvements across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or similar engineering discipline preferred.
• 3-5 years of related experience in a metal work production environment.
• Knowledge of machining processes: turning, drilling, threading, gear manufacturing.
• Understanding of cost calculation and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with CAD (2-D/3-D) and SAP

Responsibilities

• Generate process drawings, routers and machining standards.
• Solve manufacturing issues on the shop floor.
• Estimate manufacturing and product costs.
• Review customer orders and suggest spec changes when needed.
• Identify proper machine tools to manufacture safely and efficiently.
• Update routers and process drawings to current methods.
• Lead cost-reduction projects and document results.
• Support ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 and safety initiatives.
