SFEG Corp. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Tennessee. The role focuses on analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

You will design work flows, fixtures, tooling, and layouts, while collaborating with production, quality, and design engineers to implement improvements. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, with proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and manufacturing simulation tools.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, design, and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing workflows, equipment layouts, and process documentation.
• Design and implement fixtures, tooling, gauges, and manufacturing equipment.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and non-conformance issues.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and machinery.
• Develop and oversee Lean/Six Sigma implementation.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and training of staff.
