Primary Talent Partners is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a 12‑month contract in Columbus, IN. This onsite role focuses on end-to-end process development, safety, and continuous improvement across production lines.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in manufacturing/ mechanical/ industrial engineering with 5+ years of experience, and demonstrates proficiency in GD&T, engineering drawings, and tool qualifications (Fanuc HandlingTool, Arc Tool). Schedule alternates days and nights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing process development for assigned projects, ensuring safety, quality, and business objectives.
• Apply advanced manufacturing principles to optimize equipment performance and drive scalable production processes.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
• Establish and standardize manufacturing methods and best practices for consistency and excellence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive alignment and successful project outcomes.
• Coordinate cross-functional and external resources to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Share expertise and coach stakeholders to strengthen team capability.
• Build relationships across the organization to support collaboration and sustained improvements.
