Accord Technologies Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer IV to lead end-to-end process development in Columbus, Indiana. The role focuses on optimizing equipment performance, driving scalable production, and delivering excellence through CI practices.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, coordinate cross-functional resources, and coach teams to strengthen capabilities while supporting the VPI launch initiative. This is a W2 contract and onsite, with a split shift commitment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end manufacturing process development for projects, aligning with safety and quality.
  • Apply advanced manufacturing principles to optimize equipment performance and scalable production.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Cummins standards to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Establish and standardize manufacturing methods and best practices for consistency and excellence.
  • Influence and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive alignment and successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional and external resources to meet project deliverables on time and within scope.
  • Serve as a technical leader by sharing expertise and coaching stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to support collaboration and sustained improvements.
  • Support VPI Launch Activity.

Required Skills
  • Fanuc HandlingTool or Fanuc Arc Tool experience (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process development and optimization.
  • Experience with equipment selection, tooling solutions, and workstation design (including health, safety, and ergonomics).
  • Proficiency in structured problem-solving and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to apply manufacturing principles to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to work fully onsite and commit to a split shift schedule (6 months days, 6 months nights).
