Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or related).
• 1+ year of professional experience in manufacturing/process/quality engineering.
• Proven experience with PFMEA, Control Plan development, SPC, RCA (5‑Whys, Fishbone, 8D), and CAPA implementation.
• Proficient in office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with manufacturing/PFMEA systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to lead investigations and deliver corrective actions.
• U.S. Citizenship required for government contract access.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional PFMEA workshops, calculate RPNs, implement controls, and document action plans.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are developed, tracked, verified, and integrated into Control Plans for sustainable impact.
• Trigger RCA protocols in response to SPC issues, QC escapes, scrap, or assembly issues; define problem statements and outcomes.
• Develop SMART corrective/preventive actions with clear ownership, deadlines, and verification through trials, audits, and SPC.
• Monitor CAPA effectiveness and update PFMEA, Control Plans, and training based on results.
• Provide operational engineering/quality support to minimize downtime and improve cost, delivery, quality.
