Job summary

Holtec International is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support on-site operations in Camden, NJ. You will coordinate production activities, monitor quality and safety, and drive shop-floor execution with multiple teams, ensuring compliance with procedures and customer requirements.

The role offers hands-on exposure to production, quality, and operational processes as a liaison between manufacturing and support functions, with opportunities for continuous improvement and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Nuclear Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specs, and manufacturing docs.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, quality, or engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Production Supervisors to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Monitor workflow and documentation to meet schedules and priorities.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities across multiple workstations.
• Support QA activities by identifying inspection points and documents.
• Assist with quality control, fabrication requirements, and compliance.
• Track non-conformances, rework, and deviation reports.
• Coordinate material tracking and ensure traceability.
• Support safety observations and identify hazards and opportunities.
• Contribute to corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Liaise between shop floor and supporting business functions.
