Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to bridge product design and mass production, ensuring scalable, repeatable processes for new hardware. Qualifications

• Collaboration with engineering on early proof-of-concept builds to translate designs into repeatable, scalable assembly steps.
• Translate prototypes and engineering notes into structured process flows and step-by-step work instructions.
• Design, procure, and validate fixtures, jigs, and tooling with CAD for tight tolerances and operator safety.
• Lead DFM/DFA reviews with R&D and use PFMEA to identify and mitigate risks before high-volume manufacturing.
• Define and optimize manufacturing processes (dispensing, thermal bonding, torque sequencing) to meet yields and throughput targets.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering on early-proof concepts to ensure scalable assembly steps.
• Create Process Flows and Work Instructions from prototype builds and feedback.
• Design and validate fixtures and tooling with CAD for tight tolerances and ergonomic safety.
• Lead PFMEA-driven risk mitigation in DFx reviews with R&D.
• Develop and qualify manufacturing processes to meet target yields, cycle times, and throughput.
• Lead technical hand-offs to CM onboarding and support line bring-up and ramp builds.
