Job summary

Stage 4 Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer MBSE to join a leading global aerospace company in Marietta, GA. You will develop and optimize manufacturing processes using MBSE, digital work instructions, automation, and data analytics to improve production efficiency, quality, and cost.

This 12-month contract is on-site in Marietta. Work a 4-day 10-hour swing shift (4pm–2:30am) and contribute to continuous improvement through factory data and SPC methods.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering in aerospace, defense, or high tech hardware.
• 5+ years of experience of the Systems Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with Model Based Engineering (MBSE).
• U.S. Citizenship required or must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling.
• Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement.
• Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions.
• Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence.
• Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence.
• Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Manufacturing Engineer MBSE - (Marietta, GA)

We are seeking an Manufacturing Engineer MBSE to join a leading global aerospace company. In this role, you will develop and optimize advanced manufacturing processes using Model-Based Engineering (MBE/MBSE), digital work instructions, automation, and factory data analytics to improve production efficiency, quality, and cost.

This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role (4-day 10-hour shifts per week), and this is an on-site role in Marietta, GA. Must be available to support Swing Shift: M-Th 4pm-2:30am

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Requirements

• Must be an U.S Citizen
• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or an applicable STEM degree.
• 9+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering in aerospace, defense, or high tech hardware.
• 5+ years of experience of the Systems Engineering
• 3+ years of experience with Model Based Engineering (MBSE)
• Influencing decisions without formal authority (technical lead on design reviews, process improvement initiatives).
• Understanding of the Systems Engineering V Model, requirements flow down, and verification & validation (V&V) processes.
