Manufacturing Engineer II

Position Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer II is responsible for improving manufacturing processes and ensuring product quality through effective design and implementation of engineering solutions. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency and maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure product compliance with specifications.
• Develop and optimize production plans to meet customer demand and minimize downtime.
• Utilize CAD software to design and modify manufacturing layouts and tooling.
• Support Six Sigma initiatives to drive process improvement and operational excellence.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to manufacturing processes and standards.
• Assist in the training and development of manufacturing staff on new processes and technologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials engineering.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and quality control standards.
• Proficiency in CAD software for design and process optimization.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and compliance regulations.
• Experience with automation and robotics in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
