Qualifications

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex manufacturing issues.
• Oversee development of documentation, such as standard operating procedures and work instructions, to ensure consistent and efficient manufacturing processes.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in manufacturing engineering.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team and across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Monitor the performance of the manufacturing engineering team and provide feedback and coaching to drive performance excellence.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager leads and oversees the engineering team within Post/SMT. This team is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production, and maintaining high product quality. This role involves the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems and workflows. The manager will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and improving product yield by applying Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other process optimization techniques.
