Job summary

Brunswick is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in machining to join our Fond du Lac, WI team. You will own machining processes, develop new equipment and methods, and partner with supervisors to meet production goals in a safe, data-driven setting.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering, 3–8 years in CNC machining process engineering, and strong problem-solving with hands-on aptitude. The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork and ISO-compliant work instruction creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3-8 years experience process engineering in CNC machining.
• Strong mechanical as well as hands-on aptitude.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to independently manage and prioritize projects.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and engaged learner.
• Ability to interact and communicate with different job functions and lead cross functional teams.
• Ability to read and understand part and tooling prints.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written via shift notes and emails.

Responsibilities

• Process ownership of the Machining Department.
• Develop new and refine existing equipment and processes to reduce scrap, rework and product cost.
• Work with supervisory staff to meet production requirements.
• Independently manage a portfolio of projects to identify root causes and improve quality.
• Prepare and document work instructions to maintain ISO compliance.
• Lead large capital projects and liaise between design engineering and manufacturing.
