Job summary

Ingersoll Rand seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to enhance production processes and drive efficiency at our Mocksville, NC location. You will design and refine methods, work with design, quality, and operations to reduce costs and streamline workflows.

The role requires 4+ years in manufacturing engineering, a bachelor’s in engineering, and strong knowledge of machining, lean practices, and ISO standards. Onsite work with up to 15% travel, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.

Responsibilities

• Suggests, evaluates, implements & manages multiple manufacturing projects from beginning to end
• Evaluates, develops and implements machining processes on current or future assets
• Implements capital equipment including evaluation, selection, run-offs, and implementation
• Maintains manufacturing best practices including precision machining, lean manufacturing, and machine tool / tooling technologies
• Evaluates non-conforming material and provides proper disposition
• Leads special projects including NPD, insourcing, productivity and capital procurement
• Designs tooling, gages and fixtures using 3D modeling software
• Develops manufacturing routings internal and sub-con operations
• Leads machine tool installations throughout the entire process
• Supports production efforts through troubleshooting manufacturing issues
• Ensures compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards
• Supports safety and environmental practices
• Performs other duties assigned by immediate supervisor
