Cleaver-Brooks is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support production processes and APQP deliverables. You will help develop process flows, PFMEAs, and change records while engaging with engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain.

The role emphasizes data-driven improvement and documentation. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in a related engineering field and foundational exposure to APQP, Lean, and CAD/ERP tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering field with foundational manufacturing knowledge.
  • Exposure to APQP concepts and structured launch processes is expected.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and CAD/ERP tools beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain APQP documentation (PFMEA, control plans, process flows).
  • Prepare engineering change documentation and basic risk assessments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain.
  • Participate in Gemba walks and Lean improvement activities (Kaizen, value stream mapping).
  • Support capital projects with data collection, simple cost-benefit inputs, and implementation tasks.
