Job summary

Fuyao Glass America Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for the Tempering Assembly Dept in Moraine, OH.

You will analyze production processes, develop optimized workflows, and lead Lean initiatives to improve quality and reduce scrap in pretreatment activities. Responsibilities include supporting new equipment installs, validating processes, and collaborating across Quality, Maintenance, and Production to maintain smooth mass production of automotive glass products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
• English and Mandarin are used in the workplace.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop, implement, and optimize production workflows, layouts, and standard work.
• Support new equipment installation and lead process validation.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor and report on KPIs such as cycle time, yield, and downtime.
• Support the launch of new automotive glass products and ensure smooth transition into mass production.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g.,Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma).
• Other duties as assigned.
