Job summary
A leading automotive manufacturer in the United States is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to analyze production data, support launch activities, and troubleshoot manufacturing issues. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry. Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in the automotive industry.
Experience with APQP, PPAP, and launch readiness activities.
Familiarity with injection molding processes and tooling.
Knowledge of GD&T and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Responsibilities
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, Production, and Supply Chain.
Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
Support launch activities for new programs, including equipment installation, process validation, and operator training.
