Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to bridge Engineering and Production, ensuring designs are practical to build and produced safely and efficiently.

You will review drawings, BOMs, and changes, support new product introductions, and help transition designs into production. You will develop processes, tools, and work instructions, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement with Lean initiatives across fabrication, assembly, testing, and quality

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing experience required.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, fabrication, or industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• ERP/MRP systems experience preferred, Epicor a plus.
• Commitment to safe manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Engineering and Production to ensure manufacturability and safety.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and changes for producibility and quality.
• Support new product introductions and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, and tooling.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement practical solutions.
• Support fabrication, assembly, testing, and quality initiatives.
• Lead process improvements and Lean initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and PM.
