Job summary

Siemens Industry in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 2nd Shift to join our modern, dynamic factory of 350+ colleagues. The role runs 4:30pm–12:30am and focuses on analyzing operations, designing workflows, and improving production lines for high-quality power distribution equipment.

You will develop equipment lists, conduct cost analyses, collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance, apply Lean/Six Sigma and simulation tools, and document cost models and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing operations.
• Strong cost modeling, data analysis, and production planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed equipment lists for manufacturing and production operations.
• Conduct cost analyses for equipment, labor, and materials to support budgeting and investment decisions.
• Prepare accurate production cost estimates for quoting, planning, and financial forecasting.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on cost and equipment planning.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Support layout planning, time studies, and workflow analysis to improve operational efficiency.
• Apply industrial engineering methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and simulation modeling.
• Maintain documentation for cost models, equipment specifications, and process changes.
