Job summary

Siemens Industry is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 2nd Shift for our Fort Worth, TX factory (4:30pm–12:30am). You will analyze operations, design workflows, and improve production processes to reduce waste and ensure quality.

The role involves cost modeling, budget support, and cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance to optimize costs and equipment planning. The successful candidate will have a 4+ year background in industrial engineering or manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing operations.
• Strong cost modeling, data analysis, and production planning skills.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Experience with ERP systems and engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Excel, simulation tools).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed equipment lists for manufacturing and production operations.
• Conduct cost analyses for equipment, labor, and materials to support budgeting and investment decisions.
• Prepare accurate production cost estimates for quoting, planning, and financial forecasting.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on cost and equipment planning.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Support layout planning, time studies, and workflow analysis to improve operational efficiency.
• Apply industrial engineering methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and simulation modeling.
• Maintain documentation for cost models, equipment specifications, and process changes.
