Qualifications

• Experience using lean/six sigma methodologies to improve production efficiency.
• Ability to lead Kaizen events and 5S/continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proven root cause analysis skills for problem solving in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Work with production supervisors/Managers to improve efficiencies and through-put.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis for problem solving.
• Use Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools to justify costs and prepare feasibility studies.
• Evaluate improvements, create value analyses, and identify cost reductions in engineering/manufacturing.
• Identify processes for automation justification and manage major projects with outside vendors.
• Lead 5S/Continuous Improvement teams during Kaizen events and assist in training on new equipment.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering on manufacturability of products.
