Job summary
Supermicro in San Jose is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer responsible for leading continuous improvement projects to eliminate waste and enhance efficiencies in manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a BS/MS in Manufacturing Engineering and over 3 years relevant experience in the server or storage industry. They should possess excellent communication skills and experience with Lean Manufacturing. The role requires in-office attendance during standard working hours.
Qualifications
3+ years relevant work experience in the storage or server industry.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams consisting of operators and technicians.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and thick film processing preferred.
Responsibilities
Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety, quality, and cost.
Analyze processes and develop solutions to identified problems.
Train and mentor employees in lean manufacturing concepts.
