Job summary

Supermicro in San Jose is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer responsible for leading continuous improvement projects to eliminate waste and enhance efficiencies in manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a BS/MS in Manufacturing Engineering and over 3 years relevant experience in the server or storage industry. They should possess excellent communication skills and experience with Lean Manufacturing. The role requires in-office attendance during standard working hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant work experience in the storage or server industry.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams consisting of operators and technicians.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and thick film processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety, quality, and cost.
• Analyze processes and develop solutions to identified problems.
• Train and mentor employees in lean manufacturing concepts.
