Job summary

ESCO Maritime Solutions is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and optimize production processes, layouts, and workflows in line with Lean principles and strong quality standards.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, drive cost reductions through automation and tool upgrades, and perform time studies, capability analyses, and audits to improve throughput and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical, industrial or manufacturing engineering.
• 5+ years related work experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and Lean principles.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM and manufacturing simulation tools.
• Experience in statistical analysis and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, procedures, and layouts.
• Identify and implement cost-effective process improvements and automation.
• Conduct time and motion studies, flow analysis, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of processes.
• Provide technical support to production teams to meet targets.
• Investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop production documentation and SOPs.
• Lead Lean initiatives (5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Lead cross-functional projects for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with design engineers for manufacturability and transfer to production.
