Job summary

Fidelity Manufacturing in Ocala, FL seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production, improve quality, and drive continuous improvement across design, production, quality, and maintenance teams. The role emphasizes lean methods and ISO 9001 alignment in a fast-paced facility.

You will lead projects on equipment upgrades and automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Advanced degrees or certifications in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing are preferred.
Experience in an industrial/high-volume manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and lean manufacturing is desirable.
Strong troubleshooting and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead process engineering efforts to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality using Six Sigma and lean methods.
Develop and update schematics and CAD models for manufacturing equipment and tooling (SolidWorks, Creo).
Program and troubleshoot industrial automation systems including robotics, CNC/CAM, vision systems, and PLCs.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Design and optimize assembly line processes, including fabrication, welding, tooling, and mechanical/electrical assembly.
