Job summary

GD Energy Products is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Engineering team in Conroe, TX. The role provides engineering services to manufacturing and industrial activities, develops production methods, and supports lean initiatives including Kaizen and tooling evaluations.

You will work with CNC programmers and vendors, prepare cost justifications, and assist in design, acquisition, and application of new tooling and equipment to improve production.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering; 5+ years as a Manufacturing Engineer.
• Advanced degree or PE licensure is a plus.
• Experience with capital equipment projects and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to maximize production via machines, tools and methods.
• Propose and implement new manufacturing methods and tooling.
• Prepare cost justifications and project plans.
• Coordinate tooling evaluations and testing of new tooling.
• Collaborate with CNC programmers and vendors.
